Refining the Experience – Improving Registration After Day One
Key Focus: Addressing Early Registration Issues by Preloading Business Data for a Smoother User Onboarding.
READ MOREAfter the March 10 invite went out across British Columbia, the engagement on day one exceeded our expectations. While the spike in traffic and contractor interest was a huge win, it also revealed a few cracks in our onboarding flow.
The Issue
Several users experienced delays during registration—not because of the form itself, but due to an unexpected friction point: company matching. Many businesses couldn’t find their company in the system, which led to confusion or registration drop-offs.
The Fix
By the end of day one, our team had already taken action. We pulled together our internal lists and external contact databases and manually populated the system with known businesses across all relevant divisions.
- ✅ Thousands of businesses now preloaded into our company directory
- ✅ All that’s required to register is a user profile and business selection
- ✅ No more delays or entry errors—just a fast, frictionless signup
What This Means Moving Forward
Contractors who couldn’t find their business yesterday can now search, find, and register in under a minute. And if your business still isn’t listed—no problem. Our support team is standing by to add it manually within hours.
Built to Evolve
ConstructHUB is designed with growth in mind—and part of that is reacting quickly to feedback. As we continue expanding across Canada (and soon the U.S.), we’ll keep adapting to make sure every contractor has a smooth, supportive experience from day one.
Thanks to everyone who registered, reached out, or offered feedback. You're helping shape a platform that’s truly built for the trades.
